Electronic Devices Policy
Electronic Devices
CD players, MP3 players, I-Pods and other electronic devices are not allowed on campus, as they are often disruptive and are among the most lost, stolen and broken items belonging to students. Any items of this nature will be confiscated and returned only to the parent. Electronic devices are restricted by the Education Code set forth by the State Department of Education.

Because these items are not allowed on campus, Walker Junior High School is NOT responsible for lost, stolen, or broken items. We will not investigate the theft of these items for students who violate this policy. The district will NOT reimburse for lost or stolen IPODs and all other electronic items even if they are confiscated.

Valuables
Students should not bring large amounts of money, trading cards, collectibles, expensive clothing or any thing of significant value to school. The questions you should ask yourself before bringing valuables to school are, "Will this item attract the attention of others?" and "Will I be overly concerned if this item is lost, stolen or broken?" If the answer is, "Yes," do not bring it to school!

Bikes , Scooters and Skate Boards
Students who ride bikes to school will be able to secure their bikes on campus.  Skateboards and scooters are NOT permitted on campus.  Walker Junior High School is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property.  Vandalism or theft should be reported to the office and a police report made.

Students are not to ride their bikes on campus.
