STUDENT PLANNERS POLICY STUDENT PLANNERS The planner will be required in all classes and EVERY subject area. The planner will be the number one communication source for the parent, student and teacher. The planner will also serve as the student's hall pass. The planner will be a key component of every parent/teacher meeting and conference. The planner will contain pages on which every student will enter their class assignments EVERY day so the parent can instantly see EXACTLY what homework, projects or assignments are due AND when they are due. The planner will contain space for the parent and teacher to write notes to each other in order to communicate regarding progress, achievement, and areas requiring improvement. The planner will help students stay organized and serve as a permanent record for all work and communication between teacher and parent. Every student must purchase a planner. The cost is $7.00 (Arrangements can be made for those with financial hardship). Planners will be sold during registration. Replacement costs for lost or damaged planners will be $7.00. |
